What size projects do you typically take on?
Most of our projects are new builds from the ground up. That being said, however, we also do major remodels on homes or businesses.
Are you involved with green or sustainable design?
Yes, we are interested in designing as green or as sustainable a design as an owner and site allow for. We have included a wide-variety of green systems and materials into various designs.
What steps are involved in the design process?
These are the typical steps to a design process:
1. Meet on site to discuss the scope of the project. We would then prepare a proposal for cost and time.
2. When the proposal is accepted, we continue the design discussion and prepare a schematic design.
3. Based on an approved schematic design, we prepare construction documents for the builder to work off of.
4. Once the documents are complete we can hand it off to the contractor completely or continue to advise on site and be available for questions as needed.
