Danielle and Kreg

“Kreg and Danielle designed our ski house in Maine; we couldn't have been happier with the entire process. The house is stunning, unique and beautiful. They were incredibly responsive to the specific goals we had in building and worked closely with us to make sure the house was exactly what we wanted. They were a delight to work with--talented, efficient, and very knowledgeable. Could not recommend more highly!”

Leadership Team

Kreg Jones AIA
Kreg Jones, AIA

Principal Partner

Building on a background in accounting, construction and architecture, Kreg founded his own firm in 2005. His breadth of experience includes historic preservation in NY, designing ranch and vacation properties in MT, and commercial projects in NH. Currently the firm specializes in luxury homes and multifamily projects in New England. Kreg is knowledgeable in wood and steel construction and an expert problem solver. He thrives on drawing carefully-crafted details, the science of building systems, and creating structural integrity. He has the remarkable ability to work just as well with the local technician onsite as with a boardroom full of investors. In his spare time, you’ll find him studying cornices around the world, sketching new wall types, or building weekend projects for family and friends.

Danielle Jones PHD
Danielle Jones, Ph. D.

Principal Partner

Blessed with the ability to envision and create, Danielle began her academics in literature and creative writing. Concurrent with her career as a professor, she worked on many projects with Kreg before joining his growing firm full-time. With over fifteen years of design expertise, she oversees schematic design, interior design, and marketing. She is a conceptual thinker, daring stylist, and imaginative powerhouse. She leads client collaborations, the firm’s long-range vision and non-profit partnerships. She’s as able to pour her skill and energy into designing a new kitchen, as planning biophilic and neurodivergent-friendly spaces, as talking with an orphan in Africa about their hopes and dreams for the future. When she is able, she enjoys writing, photography, and hiking mountains far and wide.

Anton Popov
Anton Popov

Architect/Ukrainian Lead

Anton was born and continues to live in Ukraine with his wife, Lilianna, and their children. He has practiced as an architect specializing in 3D design for fifteen years. He was interested in architecture since he was a young boy, who at the age of seven, built his sister a fort from blankets. He has always loved to be creative and to come up with innovative and functional products. After finishing at the engineering -building institute, he began working as a designer with various architectural and 3D modelling programs. He’s a skilled technician and very detail oriented. He says that when he is creating renderings, he always tries to make them realistic and “soulful” so that when a client is looking at a picture s/he can imagine themselves standing in this place and experiencing the atmosphere of the home.

“Working with Kreg and Danielle has been a wonderful experience. New to the home designing process, I came to the table with many questions, many uncertainties, and a vision for what I wanted. Kreg and Danielle were patient, professional and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this phenomenal duo!”

Our Story

Here’s the Story

There’s power in a good story.
Stories help us relate to each other, reveal who we are at our core, and rise above personal ambitions for a greater good. The story a house tells should be more than a wish list of the clients, more than the skill of the builder, and more than the good taste of an interior designer.

It should be transcendent.
Because you don’t want to live in a home that you are not proud of.
Each sight line—through the front door, down a hall, out a window—should capture a view. Every material, every room dimension, every amenity should remind you of who you are, what is important to you, and what legacy you want to leave.
So, we listen. We ask questions. We craft your design to meet, match and exceed even your vision. Then you’re delighted the day you invite your friends and family to your new home party—the day you invite them to begin making the memories with you that will become part of the stories that are always retold.

Your Home Gives Them A Home

a portion of the proceeds from every project goes to help the impoverished

Collage of homes that we've helped to build for the impoverished

Grandmothers. Orphans. War Vets

Your Home Helps Grandmothers in Uganda.
Jaja’s often have the sole responsibility for their grandchildren. Many are living in mud huts in destitute conditions. A portion of the proceeds of your home goes towards The Nakalanda Project.  For $2,500, they build water-tight homes with a real floors and locking doors to keep these grandmothers and their grandchildren safe and dry.

Your Home Helps Orphans in Ukraine
When orphans age out of orphanages, they do so without work skills or the chance for higher education. Your home helps support the The William Christopher Fund which teaches them construction and hospitality skills they they can use to support themselves and their future families so the orphan cycle does not get repeated.

Your Home Helps Refugees & War Vets
Ravaged by over four years of war, Ukraine is flooded with refugees and war vets--average people suffering from the aftermath of trauma and PTSD. Your home helps the Morningstar Agency which provides Refugees and Vets with shelter, basic necessities, and counseling so they can be thriving members of the community.

“Danielle and Kreg have been working on my historic Victorian brick house built in 1898. They are so careful to focus on preserving the amazing historic details of the house while making it modernly functional and practical. They are architectural and design alchemists--mixing art, science, natural beauty, and sense of space in their work. They have deep experience with architecture, design, construction, and project implementation that gives them the ability to work seamlessly on complicated projects. I am so appreciative that they are working with me--the only ones that I trust to touch this lovely historic house!”
